Please introduce yourself and describe what you do for work.

Hi, my name is Mayowa (call me Mayor). I'm a software developer and a messy founder building a cold-chain-as-a-service company in Nigeria.

How did you get started?

I'm still just starting, so I'll say I see the problem, the gap, and I have the expertise to close this gap. I'll come back to update this page once I've gotten a little further.

What is a common misconception that people have about you or your job?

One common misconception about ColdStack is that we are a logistics company. No, we are not; we are a cold-chain enabler. We enable you or anyone to become a cold-chain carrier.

What part of your journey were you unprepared for? What caught you off guard?

How much dedication, research, and knowledge one has to gather and digest before taking the necessary steps. It's easier working for someone else because you're told what to do, but working for yourself, you have to know what to do.

What are you most proud of in your journey so far?

I am proud of myself for not giving up yet (and I will not).

What is one piece of advice you'd give to someone who wants to follow a similar path?

Focus on one thing. Don't try to do multiple things at once.
