Shashank's Story

ShashankSolo Founder
Indore, India

Please introduce yourself and describe what you do for work.

My name is Shashank Vimal, and I am the founder of Arogya AI. I work at the intersection of cloud infrastructure, product delivery, and strategic communication, building a health tech platform that unifies fragmented medical records into a clear, accessible system. Alongside Arogya AI, I’ve also built other projects, including another startup called Path Pioneer, which gave me hands on experience in translating ideas into real products. My focus now is on combining technical depth with human centric storytelling to make healthcare data more meaningful and fundable.

How did you get started?

I began my journey by experimenting with projects that combined technology and human centric design, which gave me practical insight into turning ideas into usable products. Building Path Pioneer was an important step, as it taught me how to navigate the challenges of early stage ventures. Those experiences gave me the confidence and skills to launch Arogya AI, where I’m now focused on solving the fragmentation of health records with clarity and scale.

What is a common misconception that people have about you or your job?

A common misconception is that my work is just about building technology or “wrapping AI” around existing problems. In reality, my role is about deeply understanding human needs and designing systems that make healthcare data feel connected and meaningful. People often assume founders only focus on fundraising or hype, but my job is equally about clarity, trust, and building solutions that resonate in real world use.

What part of your journey were you unprepared for? What caught you off guard?

I was unprepared for how much of the founder’s journey is about storytelling and trust, not just technology. What caught me off guard was realizing that even with a strong product, funders and partners need to feel the human resonance behind it before they engage. Navigating that shift from building systems to building belief has been both challenging and transformative, and it continues to shape how I grow as a founder.

What are you most proud of in your journey so far?

I’m proud of the resilience I’ve built as a founder learning to adapt quickly when things didn’t go as planned. Each setback became a lesson that sharpened my judgment and strengthened my ability to lead with clarity. What stands out most is the confidence I’ve gained in navigating uncertainty, turning challenges into opportunities, and staying committed to building solutions that matter.

What is one piece of advice you'd give to someone who wants to follow a similar path?

My advice is to start small but stay consistent build projects that teach you how ideas become products, even if they’re imperfect. Don’t wait for the “perfect” moment; momentum matters more than polish in the early stages. Most importantly, focus on clarity: if you can explain your vision simply and make it resonate with people, you’ll find support and traction faster than you expect

Anything you would like to add?

I’d like to add that my journey has been shaped as much by resilience and iteration as by vision. Every step from early projects to Path Pioneer and now Arogya AI has taught me the value of clarity, adaptability, and human connection. I believe the strongest founders are those who keep learning, stay open to collaboration, and build solutions that genuinely matter. That’s the spirit I bring to this community and to the work ahead.
