Jashwanth Thatipamula
I design and build machine learning systems that go beyond notebooks and benchmarks and benchmarks. My work focuses on performance, scalability, and the uncomfortable tradeoffs that show up in real world production - The parts nost tutorials skip.
Background
Before this, I worked independently on machine learning systems - building, experimenting, and publishing work focused on performance, scalablility, and real world constraints
Why I Started
I didn't become a founder - I started building independently. The drive came from wanting ownership over what I was building, the freedom to explore ideas deeply, and the ability to take systems from concept to implementation without constraints.
What I'm Working On
Right now I'm focused on building and experimenting with practical machine learning systems - especially algorithm design, performance optimization, and production ready implementations
SmartKNN
SmartKNN focuses on making nearest neighbor methods fast, scalable, and production ready.
Machine Learning
Biggest Struggle
The biggest challenge right now is balancing deep technical exploration with clarity - building complex ML systems while making the ideas understandable, reproducible and useful to others
Trying to Learn
I'm currently deepening my understanding of machine learning systems - focusing on algorithm design, performance optimization, and how theoretical ideas behave under real-world constraints
Help Needed
Thoughtful feedback from the experimental builders and researchers, along with connections to people working on real world ML systems, would be the most valuable Support right now
Can Offer
I can help by reviewing technical ideas, spotting performance or scalability risks early, and helping founders think through system design tradeoffs before they become expensive mistakes
