Why I Started
I'd jumped jobs and studies a lot because I didn't feel the passion and the impact that I was having. I always knew that I wanted to start a business. I came from a small city in Vietnam and most people were running small businesses to make ends meet, including my family. I took a lot of inspiration from my parents. They were always working to take care of us. Now living here in Spain, I don't see a lot of Vietnamese (or South East Asian) representation. I started a business to share my culture, to inspire and to give back to the community that had given me the opportunity to be here.
What I'm Working On
I recently started a specialty coffee brand based in Barcelona with the aim to promote Vietnamese coffee and eventually coffees from other less represented countries such as those in South East Asia.
Biggest Struggle
I'm struggling to find a sales channel that works. We currently only have the online store but we have yet been able to make and post content consistently so traffic is quite low. We're also trying to find a physical space like coffee shop to collaborate with but responses have been rare.
Trying to Learn
I'm trying to learn content creating and storytelling.
Help Needed
I think it will be very helpful connecting with people who are experienced in the specialty coffee space and people who are in the creative space like design, content making, copy writing etc.
Can Offer
We started very recently so we have not much to offer yet (beside coffee ;) ). But we can also participate and help in events and so on.
